"My wife and I loved the place. The kids preferred to be on their devices. The inlaws just set on the riverbank. Tubing was a lot of fun. The only way you could canoe is to go down the river and bring it back in a truck. The fishing was nice. The old farm house is fully remodeled. Even though they have animals, it doesn't have an overwhelming dog smell. The train didn't bother us too much. The forest on the way to teb river is charming."

"Well maintained farm house is the perfect place to unplug. We hiked and drove back roads in Pendleton county.The lists of things to do, hand drawn maps, and lists of restaurants were handy."

"Stayed for three nights in a great setting. Easy access to local lakes, hikes, tubing and wineries/breweries. Great views from the house along with the added fun of the farm animals around the property. The house has everything you need, including a nice pool, yard games, deck, and fire pit. Access was easy, owners/caretakers were responsive to questions."

"Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful house and area. Really did have everything one could need! Check in process was easy and information sent well before hand. The third room isn’t strictly a room - mattresses on raised wooden frames in low ceiling space off one of the main rooms. This wasn’t a problem for us though. We couldn’t find how to get to the river (maybe it’s just us!) - some more specific directions might be helpful for future guests"

"I like to say things I think will be helpful for future guests. First, the house slopes up in the first half and down in the second. The stove is in one small room, the sink in another and the refrigerator in another. No problem for us. Stair are narrow on riser but good railings. Fall risk for anyone unsteady on their feet. Very quiet and peaceful. Beds comfortable. "
