"Loved that the lake was only a few steps out our door and the lake was perfect for swimming. Also the hot tub which was shared was never overcrowded. Would definitely recommend to others as a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room in the cabin for myself, my 9 year old daughter and her two 16 year old girlfriends. "

"Cozy, clean and comfy cottage. We had a great stay. Right on the lake. The views are breathtaking. We did a lot of kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing.Wish the cottage had a water softener though. Also, would be nice to have sharper knives or a knife sharpener, and a grill cleaning brush. Other than that, the place is fully stocked. "

"It's an octagon-shaped house, which makes for some interesting interior angles, but it works fine. The kitchen was well-equipped. Except for the roomy kitchen, the space felt a bit tight for our two couples and two dogs, but we were mostly out exploring during daylight hours so it wasn't a problem. The location is great. You can walk to Cherry Republic and Glen Arbor. It is convenient to the majority of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. In fact, within a half a mile is a trailhead for the...

"Beautiful"

"“Mi Happy Place” became our happy place for a few glorious nights. Emily was incredibly gracious leaving us several unexpected goodies like a s’mores bag and fresh bread and cherries. Watching the full moon rise over the lake was an added bonus! The house is cozy with luxe finishes and furnishings, soft bedding and all the modern conveniences. A 5-star stay all around! "

"Meg's cottage was a great place to stay as I celebrated a milestone birthday with family. Her updates to the cottage as well as the beach are so nice. We felt very comfortable and loved sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee. Meg had everything you could need for making a meal in the beautiful kitchen. We spent a lot of time at the beach going in the water and just hanging out. It was quite hot when we were there and the water felt great. We appreciated the water toys for our use....

"My husband had a work conference at the Grand Traverse Resort and we decided to turn it into a long-weekend in TC with our family of 5 and 2 dogs (kids aged 7-11). The location of this property was perfect - only about 8 min drive to downtown, 3-4 min to Toms grocery (even closer to Costco), and 8 min to the resort for his meetings.
