"Right in the middle of the High Street so very convenient. Parking is 5 minutes walk. A traditional pub with rooms above. Our room was very compact and overlooked the storage yard which meant that, with the window open, there was noise from moving beer barrels around. It wasn’t very noisy but is probably not great if you want an early night and you’re a light sleeper. "

"Wonderful property! Beautiful bedroom - very clean - premium bedding. Delightful garden - huge with amazing wisteria which all enhanced our cream tea. Staff very helpful all over. Parking and unloading not the easiest. Breakfast was disappointing - practically cleared up buffet 20 minutes before end. Overall would absolutely recommend!"

"Very pretty pub with rooms in a gorgeous riverside setting. Accessed across two walkways across the river, the pub is cleverly designed and decorated, making the most of its watermill heritage. The staff are very friendly and keen to help. Our room was bigger than expected and well equipped, and supper in the conservatory overlooking the river was impressive. Breakfast too was perfect, the wonderful staff really adding to the experience. Well done team. You hit all the right spots."

"Great little stay. Tasteful bright room with really good amenities. We arrived too late on Sunday night for eating in the pub but had had a great take out from Thai restaurant in nearby Christchurch. Dog enjoyed stay too! "
