"Great cozy cabin."

"Our family of 4 stayed here as a last hurrah for summer vacation. Our kids are 8 and 12. The kids loved paddle boarding, fishing, swimming and wading in the shallow clear water on the sandy shoreline. My husband and I enjoyed the tranquility of the lake overall. There are specific hours on the lake where tubing/skiing are allowed, so all other times the lake was calm. We caught panfish, perch and a couple bass. Having central air to retreat to was fantastic. "We had a wonderful weekend away. There was so much to do and we took advantage of it all. We were blessed with wonderful weather, so we spend the entire weekend outside. Our highlights included deck sitting, using all of the water toys, floating on the lake (we brought inter tubes, but they did have some in the shed), and visiting around the dinner table. "Oh, the kayaks were a special treat - we were lucky to enjoy a mystical mist on the water, and many cranes, and even some deer! I do not give it a full five stars because we were not able to lock the back door (made me uneasy) and I wished we had hand- and dish-towels in the kitchen. (The dish rack was unfortunately hidden under a wet handtowel. Did the last person to clean quickly throw the towel under the sink?) Otherwise the cabin felt clean and comfortable, and looked great!"
