"Excellent hotel in a perfect location for our visit. We stayed on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel. Comfortable room. Some noise from passing inebriants, but nothing to keep us awake and to be expected in such a busy area. Fantastic restaurants close by and the Assembly hall just a short walk. Would definitely recommend."

"Helpful staff and nice pub with decent food. Exterior room not anticipated - at back of car park and noisy with arrivals/deliveries etc. from 5am so sleep impossible. Room itself ok, basic but clean, but tiny shower room needed some tlc. Airport taxi from Gatwick a rip-off at £27: local one back £17! "

"Stone Court House was very welcoming even from pre arrival emails re parking etc . Very helpful. The owner, Saban was very informative and lovely to chat to. The whole place is very special, with lovely sitting areas and rooms. Our only thought, was if you have mobility issues, ask for a room on the ground floor, as there is no lift to the 3 floors. Also request one of the shower rooms. The others have a deep free standing bath with a shower hose, as we did, which can be tricky to get in/out of...

"This is an excellent hotel in a beautiful setting. I was alone travelling for work and was welcomed warmly in both the hotel and the restaurant. My double room was small (described as such from the start) but extremely comfortable with a king size bed and very lovely linen and bathroom products. There was a TV and good coffee and tea too. The bathroom was also small but perfect. Lovely shower. The restaurant overlooks a park and I was lucky enough to eat outside in the warm evening. The food...

"The hotel room itself was lovely. The staff were great, let down by the restaurant on the 1st evening of my stay people were coming in after me, having 2 course and leaving while I was still waiting for one course. I complained so they offered me a free drink which, after 15 more mins didn’t arrive. I told them to forget it and went somewhere else for a meal. The girl on restaurant check in looked like she’d lost £50 and found £1! Credit where it’s due though, the breakfasts were great. "

"Quiet even by the airport. Easy to get in to Rochester and surrounding places. Easy available parking. Loved the pool, steam room and sauna….really missed the hot tub/jacuzzi as it was not working. Great variety and quality at breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"
