"This is a very unique venue at a very reasonable price. It’s only one part of the Church, so not just as big as you’d think from the outside pics but it covers two floors, the main bedroom (with the arch) is stunning and the other rooms a good size and also comfortable. This would be a great location for any group visiting the city. "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Places to Be property in Southsea, Portsmouth. The property is located very close to the beach - although we didn’t go as the weather was too cold - and other local attractions such as Gunwharf Quays, which was perfect for our pre-Christmas break. The property looks the same as the pics! Only very minor issue was working out how to keep the heating on but apart from that, great place."

"The property is situated in a lovely green part of Southsea, the check in process was very simple. There are a lot of stairs up to the apartment which could be a challenge for some people. The view from the room is well worth the climb! The property is spotlessly clean, close to the sea front and lots of great bars a restaurants. We will definitely return Thanks for a lovely stay."

"Property was clean, lounge /dining combined. Separate bedroom, galley kitchen. Paula, when we asked, provided us with a plug for the kitchen sink to assist dish washing, and, washing powder for the washing machine. As well we reimbursed her her parking costs. We were travelling from overseas so appreciated this. Soap, shampoo/conditioner was provided as well as starter tea/coffee, similar to other accommodation we have rented. The outside area/homes appear somewhat neglected, weeds etc. Parking...

"Self-contained studio in the heart of Southsea. This was my first visit to Portsmouth to watch the start of the Clipper 23/24 race. The decision to stay in Southsea (an easy walking down the road) and not in Gunwharf Quay was a good one. Good selection of independent eateries locally. Room was pleasant and had everything needed to make a comfortable stay. The hosts were prompt and helpful in our communications. Thank you."
