"Location, location, location! Absolutely phenomenal location to downtown Newport and the wharf area (Approx. 5 min walk). The buildings are Revolutionary War era construction, so don’t expect the modern amenities of a 21st century hotel chain. But, the properties are clean, charming and well maintained despite being nearly 300 years old. "This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B."
