Relaxing on the spacious deck under the trees and having barbecue was just great. And hiking nearby Joyce Kilmer Forest and Huckleberry Knob Trail was definitely a highlight. "

"Absolutely beautiful location. Beautiful house. Disappointed because check in was 2 hours late. Apparently, folks before us left quite a mess. Some of the linens needed to be washed. No paper towels. No shampoo, etc. in some of the bathrooms. The tub on main floor was clogged. Note: the umbrella outside had a tear. "

"Stayed here with family to attend a weekend reunion. The house is simple and cozy and worked for our needs. The neighborhood streets are very narrow and winding through the picturesque lakefront community. Very nice location for a small group. "

"Property was cute. Everything was clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, pots, and pans, etc - There was even tea & coffee. Hot tub was pleasant. Adequate privacy. Never saw host, but they were very quick to respond to messages. Very close to Robbinsville. Fuel, Grocery, and plenty of dining options close by. Very enjoyable. We would stay here again."

"I couldn’t have picked a better place to disconnect from daily pressures and re-ground myself. This cabin was perfect! The wrap around porch was the perfect place to enjoy the mountain views, singing birds and the constant burbling of the stream. There was even a family of groundhogs to watch scamper around. It was just so relaxing! I wish I could have had more time here. The cabin itself was spotless and smelled so fresh and clean. "

"Serene. Beautiful views. Incredible star gazing. Lazy Elk is 4-5 miles from the nearest through road. The last two miles are on a well maintained gravel driveway. This guarantees privacy and quiet. We spent hours on the deck without hearing a man made sound (except for occasional hot tub and air conditioning). At night we counted satellites and watched shooting stars. Mornings we watched the clouds form and rise right in front of us. At first we had trouble slowing down to natures pace but...
