"Every one of us loved it here - grown ups, kids, and dog. We had many great adventures in a short time and wished we could have stayed longer. "Annual reunion for friends. Property was great to entertain and stage us for other local events. Had an acoustic singer guitarist in and the acoustics were great! Pool is clean but is shared with two other Vrbo rentals on the property. Fire pit nice touch by the lake.privacy between the three suites is a challenge."

"The 2 bedroom, 3 bed house was great. It was clean, well stocked and located right off the beach. It is quiet with a great view. Highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the drive to get places. Cape Breton in the fall is absolutely beautiful! A must see!"

"We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. Note that any major shopping or necessities will have to be gotten in Sydney, about half an hour away, so plan for that. "When visiting the impressive Louisbourg Fortress I wanted a quiet place away from noisy hotels and I found it. Excellent place to stay above 45 minutes away from the fortress but in the boonies. It’s a small cabin, rustic but with shower, hot water, kitchen, fridge, stove and a cozy bed. The screened in gazebo deck was super nice separating me from the voracious mosquitos. Super clean and a real nice quiet place to stay. Will try to book again when in Cape Breton. "
