"This property is beautiful and the staff is top notch. I had some concerns for the owner and she never returned any of my messages. This place is expensive so I wasn’t expecting to have to pay extra to rent golf carts or a side by side since the two the house provided didn’t work. We had a water heater issue and an AC issue as well as the power went out. Although the staff was so amazing and the property is beautiful I expected to hear back regarding the issues we did have during our stay. "

Just a few hiccups - we did not realize when we made the booking that the house has a septic system only (not allowed to dispose of tissue in the toilets). The location was close to town, an easy walk but I would recommend renting a golf cart for your trip, you'll be happy you did. "Its such a great location, with a view of the bay and a 5 min golf cart drive from all the action. RENT A CART! Its a long walk, especially for littles. There is a hotel being constucted right next door, ehich is SO disappointing, you need to close shades to get privacy from workers now, when its occupied, you wont have much privacy. "Our stay at Casa Compadres was 5 star! The house was perfectly located and clean. Our concierge Cesar was a huge help with all pre-travel arrangements and during our visit. We would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Sayulita!"

"We stayed in Sayulita in the same property 6 years ago and loved it - so we came back. The property is still as comfortable as it was but Sayulita isn’t. Too busy, too much construction and too noisy - well into the early hours of the morning. This means that the close proximity to the center is now a curse rather than a blessing. The property manager Chuy however is great. We’re getting on a bit and do some peace and quiet so may be a younger livelier guest would enjoy staying here."
