"Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible. En cuanto a la casa, decir que es necesario mejorar muchas cosas para que la estancia sea cómoda y placentera, empezando como punto principal por la limpieza. "I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station."

"What a beautiful location and lovely little cottage. We were worried about the size of the bunk beds as we didn't realise they were not full size but my daughter and friend (5'11" and 5'9" found them very comfortable). The track up to the house was more of a problem. Glad our car has lots of clearance - a small car would not have managed those pot holes!"

"We were looking for a quiet and relaxing couple of days and the Shepherds hut gave us just that. It was small and very cozy. It was warm on arrival which was very welcoming. If i were to give some feedback i would say that a couple of side lamps would be helpful. Overall an excellent stay."

"Photos certainly do not do this house justice. We were a party of 9 adults and one dog and we had so much space. We particularly loved the huge kitchen table where we spent lots of time chatting, playing games etc. Highly reccommended."

However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property.
