"We received a very warm welcome from Craig and Claire on arrival, Craig even carried my suitcase from the car to the hotel where Claire took over and gave us the tour of the hotel ground floor and explained how things worked. Our room was spacious enough with an ensuite, I might suggest you take on of the chairs out we never sat on both at the same time. Bathroom was a great size with plenty room for our toiletries. We also had a great garden view.

"Comfortable and good food with quick service. Plenty of sockets in the room, in useful places, which is great when travelling for business and having work to do. There wasn't a desk as it was a small single room, but there was a socket, with USB charger on the wall by the bed and a cushion to use, so working sitting on the bed was comfortable and convenient."

"Could not imagine a more wonderful stay. Hiking Hadrian’s wall and the Sally was a most wonderful stay. The food was incredible with great vegetarian and gluten free options. The rooms were large and comfortable with very comfortable beds, great water pressure, and all spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, all in a lovely little parish. "Very welcoming reception from the host. We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic cooked breakfast each morning. My wife is coeliac and was well catered for. This B&B is ideally suited for the city centre, has close transport links and also provides on-street parking.

When we showed reception picture of room which was booked they changed room to room on picture immediately. It was mentioned that it should not have been advertised as a superior room.
