"We stayed here two short nights and we’re already planning a trip back in the fall to see the colours on Cape Breton. The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! Comfortable, functional yet stylish - the design aesthetics are beautiful and clearly considered throughout. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful sunsets. "The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. "This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside."
