"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Birdsong Retreat, nestled just minutes from Patagonia Lake. We stayed in the Hummingbird Casita, which was cozy, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature — the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life.Robin, the owner and host, was exceptional. Warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. "We picked this place for the pool and because it was close to where my daughter is ,who just moved here in January . It was great she was able to come over and hang out with us and just relax and we were able to enjoy visiting with her . "

"It was an absolutely amazing stay the house is gorgeous with a fantastic view and it was extremely clean and they had all sorts of amenities for us to use and communication with the owners was top notch and even after we discovered there was only one bed and one bedroom they brought up a cot with a real mattress to help accommodate our needs easily the best stay I've ever had and would give them more stars if I could!!!!"

"Nice property. We needed a place for 2 vehicles and our dog as we were moving to Tucson. Nice location in north Tucson. Casita with a kitchen/living room, bedroom and office. Great WiFi. Office was great to catch up. Cold air conditioning. (We needed that!). All in all a nice stay, clean with everything we needed. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this extremely well-appointed guesthouse. Roomy and comfortable for my husband, our small dog, and me. We loved the private patio and the automatic screen for shade was a plus. This beautiful location can't be beat - and so close to our favorite places: Ventana Canyon, Sabino Canyon, Tohono Chul Gardens, and the east side of Saguaro National Park. Bert and Gigi, the owners, couldn't have been nicer. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back again!"

"We loved our stay in the desert. The home was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed coffee in the backyard each morning as we listened to birds chirping and gazed at the mountains. We highly recommend this home for those who want a quiet stay close to nature. "

"One of the most fascinating homes I've ever stayed in! British Colonial decorations made it feel like we were living in another era (one very familiar and beloved for my South African immigrant mom). Aside from enjoying the amenities of the house, we were there for U of A graduation and the location was perfect - proximity to campus, restaurants, etc. Especially loved hearing every day the white-winged doves who seem to 'own' the neighborhood."

"Everything was very clean. Our pet got to roam the yard but we also had our own private patio. Our host, Elizabeth, was just the sweetest lady. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. I would highly recommend staying here."
