"A perfect gem"

"We had a good stay at the property, staff was very friendly and helpful, bed was huge and very comfortable, comfy pillows too, nice specious room which was tad dated but was clean enough not to spoil our stay. Good pub attached to the hotel, great that it had little play area to keep little ones happy and on the day we arrived there was a bouncy castle which was huge bonus. I would have been happier if breakfast was a bit better. There wasn't a huge choice for the continental breakfast and had...

"I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."

"Great little place for a night away with kids, basic but comfortable. The thing we loved was the little courtyard with plenty of tabkes and chairs outside the cabins where you could see your child playing on the play equipment whilst chilling. Only stayed in the basic cabin and didnt upgrade to the princess rooms but from what we could see, it was a much better set up in these to be able to keep a close watch on you child. Made it a relaxing stay and would defo use again."

"It was perfect for us - easy to get to and a great stop off on our way south. I know they are planning to upgrade all the rooms but ours was clean and cosy and just what was needed for a quick overnight. Althought to be fair we could have stayed alot longer as the pub was just as we would want an old English pub to be - traditional and modern. Oak furniture, fireplace,wee nooks, centuries of history and many chiming clocks...as well as all the things a good modern pub should have. We missed pub...
