"The hotel is excellent BUT the small new rooms facing south on the third floor (e.g. room 313) are no where near 4star rating. There is no air conditioning so that during sunny conditions the rooms become uncomfortably hot. A fridge or cooler box is not provided which adds to the discomfort. The bathroom is surprisingly devoid of adequate shelving to store the inevitable toilet accessories, the small bathroom cabinet being a poor substitute for this facility. "

"If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."
