"As a first time bnb guest, I loved it. James and Connie were very welcoming and made for great conversation during breakfast with the other guests. So much history in the house and area. We spent most of our time in Abingdon - antiquing, dining, and the barter theater. Apparently there's much to discover in Damascus for next time though! We valued the private bathroom in the honeymoon suite, but FYI does not have a shower just a tub, but there was a public shower down the hall. Thanks guys...

"Easy check in, huge room with everything we needed, owner was quick to respond to questions. Location was perfect to downtown Rocky Mount with the Harvester theatre, farmer's market and restaurants. "

"Cute room, lots of common space inside and out. Parking was limited but adequate while we were there. Would like to see small fridge in the room, large fridge in kitchen but not sure anything left in there would be still there when you wanted it. There is a charge for breakfast which we found odd for a B&B, we didn't try it so I can't comment on quality. Staff was friendly and messages were answered promptly. Still can't figure out ROKU TVs...not the first locations we've had that issue."
