"Although it was a brief stay, everything about the room was in good working order. I was surprised it was not busier for a Saturday night but most likely not the ideal time to be touring for most people prior to the snow-sports and after fall colors. The property was easy to find and I appreciated a simple key versus electronic swipe cards so I could leave door unlocked for loading/unloading. I would definitely not hesitate to rent another room here next time I find myself in the area,...

"It was our first time in the UP and the lodge was perfect. My wife and I loved, and spent most of every evening in the lounge area playing the pinball and dart games. If we ever make it up that way again, we will definitely be staying at the lodge. "A small no frills motel. Check in was wonderful and Todd was very friendly and full of information. The motel is located on the main street of Hurley within walking distance of several restaurants and pubs. I was worried about street noise but it was fairly quiet. No hair dryer in the bathroom but the room was clean and great for a one night stay. Todd made biscuits and gravy for breakfast and they were wonderful. "

"Stayed for the weekend - perfect for the two of us. There are two bedrooms in unit 1, one queen and one bedroom with two bunk beds. Kitchen with stove and microwave and full refrigerator. Small living room area to sit with couch and comfy chair. Outside was nice. Fire pit and an upper deck with gas fire pit. Nice view of the area. Gas grill on site too. Overall clean and cozy. Host was very responsive too. Great for our weeekend. "

"The chalet was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. It sits tucked at the base of big Powderhorn mountain, so it’s right in the woods and surrounded by nature and walking trails. The check-in process was easy and our stay, although one night, was quite enjoyable. Don’t miss the opportunity to view the waterfalls nearby and to travel to the top of the ski flying hill at Copper Peak."
