"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"This is a rustic, true off-grid stay. The property is absolutely stunning and the new owners clearly care about the camp itself and are working to to update and refresh it a bit. I did have a bit of trouble finding it and due to the lack of pics and directions when I booked, it just took a bit longer. I believe that has been updated. Garrett was great, super friendly and had great communication. Beautiful stay - I needed to get out into nature and I was able to do so. Absolutely would stay again...

"This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. Wish we stayed longer, thank you so much for an amazing/unique stay!! "

"This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. "

"This house was wonderful! Clean, easy to find on GPS, even in the dark when we arrived and a very quiet location. The view was beautiful. We saw deer in the backyard and across the lake. We utilized the fire pit on a cool night and enjoyed s’mores with our family. The small touches were thoughtful-mini bottles of shampoo & conditioner, mini bars of soap, coffee available for the coffee maker. Beds were comfortable as well. If we’re ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again. "

"My significant other and I had a beautiful stay at this unique cozy cabin! This was our home base while in the area exploring Acadia and we loved starting our day with views of the lake and coming back to enjoy relaxing by the firepit. Everything was as described and it was nice having our own private bathroom a few steps from the main cabin along with access to a washer and dryer to keep our laundry fresh after a week of traveling and camping. "Chose glamping as a fun alternative to a hotel when in town for a concert. My daughter and her friends loved it (they are campers so en suite bathroom with screen did not bother them). Tent beds were so clean and comfy! We had rain, but cooked a big brunch in the outdoor kitchen. Hosts were wonderful and we had a great time! Would highly recommend!"

"We stayed for one night in this lovely, rustic cottage and wished we had more than one day to enjoy the amenities, which was a fantastic lakeside spot with a dock, fire pit, kayaks, and wrap around deck. The cottage was charming and cozy, with an unusual layout with a loft above the 2nd floor bedroom. The one minor glitch to the trip was having to call Vacasa repeatedly for the access code to the house, which we did not get until we are at the house. "

"We had a perfect stay. This cozy cabin has ample room for plenty of people, great outdoor space, and was comfortable and clean. Excellent water pressure, which is not always the case in these woodsy spots! We used this as our home base while we explored the area, including Acadia. Loved the location. Loved the hot tub!"
