"What a beautiful unique place hidden in the North Yorkshire countryside. Run by a lovely lady called Ginny who was so welcoming. She explained everything about the room, facilities and local walks. Loved the honesty shop. Had a great number of things to choose from, from hiking essentials (for sore feet!), to fresh eggs and pies. The room was perfect and very unique. "There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. Sofa in the main living room was old and sunk down so we could not use. "Gym" was a few pieces of equipment outside under a carport type structure and was covered by tarp as was the outside furniture. Toilet broke and owner tried to...

"A family of grandparents, parents and young children, we all loved our stay at Mount Folly Farm. We felt entirely welcome in this warm and cosy property and it was lovely to return to at the end of the day. The house was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The views were unsurpassable, as were the beaches, with large sandy areas, small coves and rock pools. There are endless walks and the wildlife is incredible. "
