"Cogimos este B&B para nuestra última noche en Escocia antes de volver a traves del aeropuerto de Prestwick ( a 20 minutos). Imprescindible llevar coche, Un lugar muy tranquilo, la casa está en una granja de vacas y la habitación en la que estuvimos era enorme y espaciosa. Eramos dos pero habia camas para 4. Tenía Té y todo lo necesario para prepararlo. La anfitriona fue encantadora con nosotros y nos preparó todo el desayuno que le pedimos. Excelente servicio y atención. "

"There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. Sofa in the main living room was old and sunk down so we could not use. "The Cowboy hut was very clean, cosy and looked like it was straight out of a western. The bed was very comfy and the wood burner made for a relaxing atmosphere. The big bath was lovely with a view of the hills from the tub. The site was quiet and very scenic with beautiful surroundings. We had a power cut due to storm Darragh which was sorted very quickly. The onsite shop was very useful with what we needed for the weekend. Would highly recommend for a relaxing, peaceful break. "

"A family of grandparents, parents and young children, we all loved our stay at Mount Folly Farm. We felt entirely welcome in this warm and cosy property and it was lovely to return to at the end of the day. The house was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The views were unsurpassable, as were the beaches, with large sandy areas, small coves and rock pools. There are endless walks and the wildlife is incredible. "

"Owner Mike is friendly and service and his breakfast cooking was good. One thing I feel can further improve is, when we arrived at the hotel around 1700hrs it was already total darkness as we are travelling in winter Dec 2024. Mike should install a lamp by the sign board where the instructions for the guests, to guide the guests to the instruction’s board, as the winter darkness make it challenging for us. "We contacted the B&B to arrange a very early check in which was agreed with no problem. There was a dedicated parking space close to the guest entrance which made taking luggage to the room easier. We stayed whilst the worst of Storm Darragh was passing, so the short walk to the entrance was very welcome. The room was spacious enough with shower, comfortable bed and, despite Storm Darragh doing its worst outside, very quiet. Breakfast was very tasty with all produce locally bought, or made in...

"Lower Elmore's is a lovely house with everything you could need and bags of space. We rented the property as a group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids) and hugely enjoyed it. It's remote location does mean you have to navigate single track narrow roads to go anywhere - this wasn't a problem for us but may not be to everyone's comfort."

"Lovely house. Clean, large house, rural location. Fab hot tub and pool. Big enough for our 9 teenagers/adults. We had a great time. Only very minor disadvantages such as lack of tea towels, could do with a bit more light above hot tub and doors sticking. We would highly recommend here though."
