"My wife and I stayed at Royal Palms from November 8 to November 11 and had a wonderful time! Check in was very easy. A warm welcome note with a scrumptious fruit basket set a welcoming ohana feeling that was just right. "House as described, Dannie is a wonderful host and always reachable. She helped us with everything in our special situation, we will never forget her and Jessica. If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else. "We enjoyed our time in this well designed lower level apartment. Everything you need is there and handy (cook top only). We loved the view, pool, hot tub, water fall, horses, goats, chickens at the entire environment. IW was relaxing sitting on the porch seeing the ocean in the distance and feeling the ocean breeze. Steve was responsive, helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend this spot."

"I loved everything about this property. It was close enough to Hilo to be convenient, but also far enough out of town to feel serene and peaceful. The place was sparkling clean and well-designed with all the amenities you'd expect, while remaining true to its eco-friendly claims. My favorite part was swinging in the hammock watching sunset, and picking fresh lychees off the trees. I'd highly recommend!! "
