"Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable.
Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. Thank you. "

"Lovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again."

The owners and staff are lovely, the food is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is stunningly gorgeous - I’ve been on some great walks along the Dart River and the other way onto Dartmoor. It’d be a great place to stay for a walking trip. "
