"We stayed in the "Upper Deck" suite and it was perfect for us. We loved having our coffee on the balcony with the view of the water. It was clean, comfortable, and an easy walk to the beach or main strip of town. Excellent coffee and plenty of restaurants and shops are a very short walk away while the site is peaceful and feels removed from the tourist area. "We had such a great time at this Port Austin cozy cabin. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a beautifully landscaped yard with both a side and back deck, there is also a fire pit, a horseshoe pit, and a basketball net in the driveway. I was impressed by the cleanliness, and we truly had everything we could need and more: washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, fridge, air fryer, waffle maker, full kitchen utensils, stacks of towels and extra blankets... "We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...
