"Area a bit in the middle of nowhere but a lovely quiet area. Owners were on hand whenever you needed them. The accommodation was a proper home from home very comfortable."

"Lovely double-height living area, enough room for a family of five for a week. Well-equipped kitchen, with slate floors throughout the downstairs. Nicely finished upstairs, although headroom is a bit tight in places. Good shower downstairs, but we did find the water was a bit too hot coming out of the taps, so we had to be careful, particularly with the kids, when washing hands etc. Upon arrival we felt that much of the kitchen stuff needed a wash before use, as it was a bit greasy. "Bashford Lodge is a truly fantastic property! The lodge is beautiful throughout - kept to a very high standard with excellent spacious accommodation. The absolute star attraction are the stunning views from the lounge and balcony. The lodge is well positioned as a great base to explore the Quantocks and wider Somerset area. We couldn’t recommend it enough - and thanks again to Gll who was a brilliant host throughout. We cannot wait to return. Thanks again, Gavin & family. "
