"This was the perfect cottage getaway. Waterfront serenity and the cottage was equipped with everything you could ever need. Comfortable beds and living space with a fully equipped kitchen. Right down to the finest details of salt and pepper and a Keurig for coffee. Would definitely recommend this little slice of heaven. Owner was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely book again. "

"We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! "This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna."

"Absolutely loved it. Kids and dog loved the suave and we all sieht s out of time exporting the shallow rapids and counting the different birds we saw. We met Cheryl briefly and she recommended we take reclining lawn chairs to the front lawn to watch the stars - we did that after a fire and it was fantastic. Lots of games, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. We rented a canoe from McReary Resort siren the road and also made a day trip to Murphys Point. Just loved it! "

"We had a very nice week at this cottage. It’s a quieter part of the river, boat-wise, so good SUP’ing and kayaking. Good fishing spots too. The cottage is on the smaller side, but it sleeps six comfortably, and otherwise we spent all our time outside, so we did not mind the smaller living area. We brought a pop-up shelter to create more shade near the water, as it’s on the sunny side. "Loved the beach and sandy lake bottom. Didn’t like being right on highway 60, lots of traffic noise. The kitchen was very dark and the light over the sink wasn’t working. Everyone had to walk through the main bedroom to use the only shower, the hosts left their bar of soap, toothbrush and paste and a razor.
