"The hotel and the pub are very tired and in desperate need of rlc and upgrade/refurb. Stains on everything from floors to ceiling. Chairs in the room and the bar that should be in the bin. The cleaners do a great job but the whole place needs dealing with. Green King you are better than this. "

"We only stayed for 2 nights, but staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. The Antelope is very close to Poole quay and a great place to explore from, we parked in the visitor multi storey car park spaces are tight but we had no issues parking "

"We loved our stay! The room was spacious for my family of five. It did get warm and the lack of air conditioning made it tough for sleeping. The fans provided helped. "

"If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. "Great 2 night stay, lovely room with a beautiful view. Ideal location for us as visiting family in Southbourne. Lovely food, I had the chicken and ham pie both nights, it was that good. Entertainment over the road at the Beach cafe both afternoons, which was a bonus in the fab weather we had. Definitely return "
