"The Tree Cottage in the Rainforest was such a unique and beautiful stay! The property is a bit tucked away with lots of foliage, which added to the rainforest charm. It’s about a 7-minute drive to Volcanoes National Park, making it a great location for exploring.There aren’t many restaurants nearby, and most eateries close by 6 PM, but the cottage has a full kitchen for convenience. "We enjoyed our experience staying in the yurt! We had wanted to do this for a while, and when the opportunity presented itself, we jumped! The yurt was a great size for two people. It had a refrigerator and a microwave, and also a grill outside. There is electricity, but a different system of plumbing. There is water for showering, washing hands, and washing dishes, but there are two toilets, one for pee and an incinerator one for poo (I found this fascinating!). The neighborhood is on the...
