"We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other sights on the Big Island. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy. We walked to the ocean in the morning for great views of the coast and spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying the trees and flowers in the yard. They even grow their own pineapples! Craig and Patti are great hosts. Patti notified us about the Kilauea eruption. Unfortunately we missed the show because...

"Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!"
